FIELD: processes and press-molds for molding articles such as automobile parts including at least one elastomer polyurethane envelope having front and back sides.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of using press-mold having at least first unit including two mutually movable sections forming at least one joint. Onto surface of first unit of press-mold at least one chemically active polyurethane mixture is applied for molding envelope whose front side is adjoined to surface of press-mold. When two mutually movable sections of press-mold are moved in parting direction, molded article is taken out of press mold. First unit of press-mold includes in addition detachable flexible insert. Said unit of elastic material is placed on sections of press-mold for forming at least part of said surface of press-mold and for covering at least partially said joint. In region where said joint is covered by means of insert there are no traces of joint on front surface of molded article.
EFFECT: possibility for making molded articles with front surface characterized by high optical quality.
