FIELD: communications engineering; radio and optical communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method designed for two-way communications, both in automatic and manual mode, between parties in optical vision area, including choice of desired subscriber when no information about the latter is available in advance, involves joint use of two (optical and radio)communication channels. Optical communication channel enables choice and identification of definite subscriber of interest out of many other similar ones. Radio communication channel makes it possible to transfer instructions and to interchange data between parties. This combined communication method is implemented by means of electronic devices widely used in radio electronic industry.
