FIELD: refractory materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to fabrication of quartz ceramics-concrete refractories (barrels, protective tubes). Method envisages preparation of high-concentration binding suspensions of quartz glass with density 1.89-1.92 g/cm3, adding grainy filler (0.1-2.0 mm) to 40%, centrifugal formation of products at variable peripheral speed 2 to 8 m/s, and heat treatment. Formation can be either triple-step with stepwise rotation raise velocity 100-150 rpm either with continuous rotation raise velocity (30-50 rpm). In order to form bottom part of closed-bottom barrels, ceramics-concrete mix based on high-concentration binding suspensions with 0.05-0,1% liquid glass added is used. Wet grinding is carried out preferably with distilled water.
EFFECT: Increased strength and operation stability of refractories.
