FIELD: manufacture of engines; appliances for injection of fuel into diesel engine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electrohydraulic injector has body with supply orifice, atomizer needle, atomizer, needle locking spring, locking step-up gear, step-up gear bush, hydraulic control chamber jet, ball valve for hydraulic control system, rod, armature, electromagnet and hydraulic control valve spring. Fuel from high-pressure fuel line flowing through jet of hydraulic control chamber is directed tangentially relative to internal cylindrical surface of hydraulic control chamber.
EFFECT: high speed of response; enhanced reliability and durability of ball valve; reduced consumption of fuel for control system.
