FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to battery supply systems. Proposed electrohydraulic nozzle of diesel engine with battery supply fuel system has body with fuel feed and drain channels and through axial space, hollow spray tip with orifices secured on body, needle installed in spray tip space to form underneedle chamber and mated with carrying part of locking booster, centering spacer sealing part of locking booster made in form of piston which is precision-mounted in bushing of locking booster to form hydraulic control chamber, jet of hydraulic control chamber, hydraulic control ball valve, rod, armature, electromagnet, spring of hydraulic control valve, and damper coaxially arranged between carrying part of locking booster and through axial space of nozzle body. Damper consists of cylindrical hollow housing and cylindrical hollow flexible member made of elastomer built between inner surface of hollow housing of damper and outer surface of carrying part of locking booster. Flexible member made of elastomer is rigidly coupled with said surfaces. Housing of damper is pressed to end face surface of bushing of locking booster by elastic spherical washer. Locking of spray tip needle when diesel engine is shut down is made by force acting through carrying part of locking booster owing to shift stress in flexible elastomer member of damper.

EFFECT: reduced impact loads of mating parts, improved reliability and increased service life of nozzle.
