FIELD: production of transformable upholstered furniture.

SUBSTANCE: seating furniture transformable into bed has back 4 which may be turned by means of levers 3 into plane of seat. Levers 3 are pivotally connected at their one side to frame of seat 1 and at their other side to back 4. In sitting position, surface of seat 2 is covered with unattached upholstering fabric which is connected at its one side with front lower part of seat frame and at its other side with lower part of back 4. Double layer of ticking is laid under upholstering fabric, only over the surface of seat 2, said layer being preferably connected with cotton wool and joined to front end of seat surface. When upholstered furniture is unfolded, layer of ticking occupies the entire surface designed for lying and defined by seat and back, and when it is in sitting position, upholstering fabric is turned over.

EFFECT: simplified ticking laying process and increased efficiency by simplified transformation of upholstered furniture into bed or seating furniture.
