FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: dust catching apparatus with plurality of cyclone reservoirs for centrifugal separating and catching of contaminating particles from air has first cyclone reservoir equipped with first suction channel and air exit channel, plurality of second reservoirs, at least one of which reservoirs is functionally connected to first cyclone reservoir, contaminating particles collecting member for collecting contaminating particles separated in first cyclone reservoir and in at least one of plurality of second cyclone reservoirs, said second cyclone reservoirs being arranged in parallel with one another. First cyclone reservoir has first suction channel, casing of first cyclone reservoir equipped with first chamber and first air exit channel provided within upper part of first cyclone reservoir casing. Each of plurality of second cyclone reservoirs has casing equipped with second chamber of smaller size than first chamber. Dust catching apparatus is further provided with air suction channel provided within lower part of second cyclone reservoir casing and fluidly communicated with first air exit channel, and second air exit channel provided on one lateral side of second cyclone reservoir casing. First cyclone reservoir has vertical central axial line, so air flows upward in substantially vertical direction and is discharged by vortex motion. Second cyclone reservoirs are arranged in parallel with one another and have central axial line extending substantially perpendicular to central axial line of first cyclone reservoir, so that air flows from each of second cyclone reservoirs in horizontal plane owing to vortex motion and is then discharged.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in catching of finest dust.
