BUCKET ELEVATOR Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B65G17/12 B65G17/36

Abstract RU 2272769 C1

FIELD: materials handling equipment; bucket elevators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-speed elevators with belt traction member and centrifugal unloading of buckets. Proposed bucket elevator has endless traction member with buckets secured at definite pitch closed on drive and tension units, boot with charge branch pipe, middle part of elevator and head with discharge branch pipe. Backs of buckets are provided with guide sides. Bottom of charge branch pipe is made curvilinear, with deflection downwards. Distance between guide sides on back of each bucket decreases to side of bottom, and guide sides proper are installed with tilting from each other.

EFFECT: improved reliability of bucket elevator owing to centered delivery of load from charge branch pipe into elevator bucket without spilling of transported load onto elevator boot.
