FIELD: materials handling equipment; elevators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed elevator for lump loads has flexible pull-and-carry loop consisting of two endless laminated chains closed in vertical plane on drive and tension sprockets. Carrying members for load to be transported are secured with equal pitch on chains. Elevator has housing consisting of front, rear and side walls, charge and discharge devices. Carrying members are made in form of shelves cantilever mounted at angle to chains. Each shelf has edge bent square to plane of chain. Shelves are furnished with stiffening ribs from non-working side of shaft. Chains with shelves secured on carrying run of conveyor are arranged with minimum clearances and possibility of interaction with vertical wall installed inside housing. Said wall is secured by ends of side walls of elevator housing. Discharge device is made in form of inclined chute arranged under drive sprocket. Shaft of drive sprocket is provided with protective bushing. Chute can be made single-slip or double-slip.
EFFECT: increased capacity of elevator, reduced overall dimensions of elevator housing, provision of discharge of transported load at minimum loss of height.
