FIELD: food-processing and canned food industry, in particular, production of syrups, juices and alcohols from juice of cucurbitaceous crop fruit, and feed production industry, in particular, stocking of hay, silage and leguminous crop wastes.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has set of pairs of rolls arranged on half-frames in horizontal plane one above another, feeding table, juice collecting chute, trough, fruit pulp discharging screw, mechanism for restricting displacement of half-frames, movable feeding roll, and roll drives. Each pair of rolls has individual mechanism for adjusting of gap between rolls. Rolls are arranged in pairs so as to define angle having apex oriented toward half-frame pivot joint. Half-frames are equipped with mechanism for simultaneous adjustment of compression force and mechanism for adjusting gap so as to reduce it in direction extending from mass inlet end where mass enters first pair of rolls to outlet end where said mass is discharged from terminating pair of rolls, with number of pairs of rolls being at least three. Feed roll is arranged above table, is pivotally mounted on upper half-frame and kinematically connected with outer roll. Mechanism for simultaneous adjustment of compression force applied to fruit is made in the form of hydraulic power cylinder mounted by means of L-shaped bracket above upper half-frame. Rolls have individual group drive.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of power, increased efficiency and improved quality of juice.
