FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for remote real-time continuous measurement of ice, wind, and ice-wind loads on intermediate-span phase conductor or ground wire of overhead power transmission line and for indication of relative direction of wind in monitoring overhead power transmission line, as well as for other purposes has two force-measuring transducers, each being loosely suspended between pole cross-arm and respective insulator string; bottom ends of both insulator strings are hinged together to form V-shaped suspension whereto wire or phase conductor is attached and top ends of transducer are attached to pole cross-arm and spaced apart through distance equal to length of transducer-carrying insulator string to form equilateral triangle together with V-shaped suspension; device also has two remote-transmission channels, two-input comparator, three functional converters, adjustable-shift shaper, adder, three-input relative wind direction indicator, as well as three ice-wind, wind, and ice load meters.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
