FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering for recording values of force and frequency of dynamic action of wire dancing on a post and OPTL support crossarm. Method of detecting ice-wind load and dancing wires on OPTL consists in the fact that at the point of attachment of intermediate span wire to string of insulators simultaneously measured values of ice and wind loads on wire and value of longitudinal acceleration of wire, these values are compared with the corresponding threshold values, and in the attachment point of the wire of the intermediate span to the string of insulators, suspended to the traverse on the OPTL support post, simultaneously measuring the following: magnitude of force caused by glaze ice-wind load, value and direction of longitudinal acceleration of wire, value and direction of transverse acceleration of wire; values of force, longitudinal and transverse accelerations are recorded at the moments of time when longitudinal and transverse accelerations reach maximum values, then calculating the maximum dynamic impact force proportional to the measured longitudinal acceleration and directed along the OPTL axis of view, as well as frequency of change of this force from frequency of longitudinal acceleration of wire.
EFFECT: simultaneous measurement of ice-wind load in real time and recording values of maximum force and frequency of dynamic action on the post and OPTL support crossbar during oscillation period during wire spinning without using V-shaped wire suspension and in absence of observer on OPTL controlled section.
