FIELD: manufacture of electrodes for electric arc welding of carbon and low-carbon steels.
SUBSTANCE: composition includes components at next relation, mass %: marble, 49.5 - 51.0; rutile, 5.0 - 6.0; ferromanganese, 4.5 -5.5; ferrosilicon, 8.0 - 9.0; fluorspar, 23.0 - 25.0; quartz sand, 1.5 - 2,5; talcomagnesite, 3.5 - 4.5; sodium carbonate, 1.0 - 1.5. Composition provides enhanced plasticity of electrode facing mass and fluidity of slag at welding.
EFFECT: high quality of welded metal, lowered cost price of electrode.
