FIELD: organic fertilizers.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of fertilizers using red California worms. Process involves preliminary stirring and biothermal composting of substrate including organic loosening substances, populating moistened compost with red California worms sp. Esenia foetida to process compost, and separation of worms from biohumus moistened to 60-65%. As substrate, mixture of nonproductive wastes of butchers, for example technical slaughtering blood, bones, hides, contents of proventriculus of gastrointestinal tract with organic loosening substances, for example with sawdust, paper, and residual brewer's or baker's yeast. Biothermal composting is carried in open vessel by way of three-step hydrolysis. The first step consists in stirring mixture at 40°C during 2-3 h followed by boiling at 120°C for 2-3 h, and cooling mixture to 40°C. Second step consists in stirring resulting mixture for 2-3 h at 40°C with equal volume of unused brewer's or baker's yeast and organic loosening substances followed by adding water-alcohol extract of enzymes from pancreas of butchers, e.g. pig, and/or protease Bas. subtilis used at ratio 1:100 or 1:500, and additionally stirring the mixture at 40°C during 2-3 h. Third step consists in sterilization of resulting mixture for 2-3 h at 120°C, riddling, and further vaporization to residual moisture content 40-60°C. Population of resulting compost with red California worms is effected at a rate of 10-15 sexually mature worms per 10 kg compost in a separate vessel, bottom of which is covered with bedding composed of sawdust and sand in 1:1 proportion, after which compost id stored over a period of 2 to 3 months until biohumus with stable pH 6.0-8.0 is formed. Separation of worms from moistened biohumus is accomplished using a bait in the form of mixture of paper dust, finely divided sawdust, urea, and starch glue. Thus obtained biohumus is then dried to moisture 5-15% and used for agricultural purposes.
EFFECT: achieved environmental safety of product.
