FIELD: medicine, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing polyisoprene trans-isomers and for preparing materials of medicinal designation also. The polymerization reaction of isoprene is carried out in aliphatic solvent medium in the presence of a catalyst applied or not applied on silica gel. Catalyst represents titanium tetrachloride precipitated on magnesium dichloride. The polymerization reaction is carried out at 25-40°C, at the concentration of isoprene in the polymerization medium 0.8-1.0 mole/l, in the mole ratio co-catalyst : catalyst from 32 to 50. By other variant the polymerization reaction of isoprene is carried out in gaseous phase at 18-25°C with preliminary pre-polymerization. Prepared synthetic gutta-percha is used, in particular, as a binding agent in combination with dispersed mineral filling agent in composition for the tight medicinal bandage. Invention provides enhancing hardness of gutta-percha and decreasing hardening time of the composition.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
