FIELD: metallurgy; development of the tool die steel for production of the cold straining dies.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to development of the tool die steel for production of the cold straining dies of heightened productivity and the process equipment. The invention offered the tool die steel containing carbon, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, cobalt, manganese, silicon, nickel, aluminum, sulfur, iron. The invention is intended to improve the tool die steel hardness, heat resistance, wear resistance, machining property and grindability without impairment of weldability, heat-treatment-ability. The tool die steel high properties of wearability, machining property and grindability are ensured with the protective sulphidic films formed on the working surfaces of the products (the tool steel dies and the production equipment)in the process of operation, owing to a complex doping of the steel with sulphure, molybdenum and cobalt at the certain components ratio. The high values of hardness and heat resistance of the steel are reached due to the dispersive hardening at the doping with cobalt and molybdenum.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improvement of the tool die steel hardness, heat resistance, wear resistance, machining property and grindability without impairment of weldability, heat-treatment-ability.
