FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains carbon, tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt, vanadium, niobium, silicon, titanium, zirconium and nitrogen and iron at the following component ratio, wt %: carbon 0.09-0.14; tungsten 3,5-4,5; molybdenum 8-9; cobalt 17-18; vanadium 0.1-0.3; niobium 0.2-0.3; silicon 0.17-0.34; titanium 1,2-1,4; zirconium 0.05-0.09; nitrogen 0.03-0.07; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: strength, toughness, heat resistance and service durability of tool steel are increased.
