FIELD: technology for checking bank notes visually.
SUBSTANCE: device has at least two groups of emitters of testing radiation, while all emitters of testing radiation in each group emit testing radiation of one frequency, which in each group is different from testing emission frequency of any one of remaining groups; set-point generator, meant for generation of periodic oscillations, each one of each serves for enabling appropriate group of test radiation emitters to provide for enabling current group only in time, when emitters of remaining groups are disabled; and receiver of reflected emission, made with possibility of receiving testing radiation with frequency of testing radiation of each group. As a result, blinking effect of protective element image can be observed on monitor screen.
EFFECT: realization of method for checking bank note with one protective element, made by two different paints of one shade, but with different reflection spectrums on different infrared spectrum radiation wave lengths.
