FIELD: methods for recognizing authenticity of securities with preliminary control testing of image on paper carrier with usage of typographic paints.
SUBSTANCE: in the method, images on paper surface are irradiated by testing radiations, reflected stream is received, transferred to electric signals and compared to standard values. Preliminary identification of each portion is performed with usage of irradiation by testing radiation, numeric values of light wave lengths of which provide for greatest value of absorption coefficient of one of typographic paints, while standard values of electric signals are received by transformation of reflected stream of testing radiations for every, as small as needed, part of standard surface, for example in form of white sheet of paper, absorption coefficient of which for each testing radiation has constant numeric value.
EFFECT: increased reliability of recognition of authenticity of securities and/or documents.
