SUBSTANCE: armchair-bed has seat, side walls, and back. Back consists of set of members, one of said members being pivotally connected to side walls for rotation around axis in conjunction with other pivotally connected members, and also for retaining in upright position and creating bed-forming portion. At least one member may be made of drop-type to be dropped in longitudinal or transverse direction. At least one member may be made extendable in longitudinal or transverse direction. Each of side walls is equipped with at least one step for attachment of bed forming portion and at least one receptacle for retaining of holders for bed forming portion.
