FIELD: microwave radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed microwave selector switch that can be used to protect receiver input against echo signals, to select desired channels of feeder line, and to function as heavy-power antenna switch has input and two output transmission lines, three sections of λ/4 length, and one section of λ/2 length; wave impedance of sections is chosen from equation where Z0 is wave impedance of input and output transmission lines; it also has four diodes. Cathode of first diode is connected to connection point of input conducting transmission line and start of third half-wave section; its anode is connected to start of first quarter-wavelength section. Cathode of second diode is connected to connection points of finishes of second quarter-wavelength section and third one; its anode is connected to first output conducting transmission line. Third diode is inserted in center of third section with its anode connected in series with start of second half of this section. Fourth diode is parallel-connected to second output with its anode connected to finish of fourth quarter-wavelength section of line, its start being inserted in center of third section.
EFFECT: enhanced isolation between output channels, improved matching and enlarged functional capabilities of circuit.
