AUTOMATIC MICROWAVE SWITCH Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC H01P1/15

Abstract RU 2776861 C1

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering. The automatic microwave switch contains three outputs: transmission, reception, reception-transmission. The transmission switch block contains a field-effect transistor with a Schottky barrier, a resistor, and a transmission line segment. The reception switch block contains a field-effect transistor with a Schottky barrier, a resistor, and a transmission line segment. The control bias voltage generator unit is made in the form of an amplitude rectifier of a voltage doubler of negative polarity and contains two rectifier diodes with a Schottky barrier, two capacitors, two resistors. The transmission switch unit has one transmission line segment. The reception switch block additionally has two protective diodes with a Schottky barrier, while the electrodes of the cathode of the first and anode of the second protective diodes with a Schottky barrier, and one end of the second segment of the transmission line are grounded. In a control bias voltage generator, the end of the first capacitor is, its other end is connected to one end of the third resistor, the other end of the latter is connected simultaneously to the electrodes of the anode of the first and cathode of the second rectifier diodes with a Schottky barrier. The junction point of the anode electrode of the second rectifier diode with one end of the second capacitor and the fourth resistor is the output of the control bias voltage generator unit in the form of an amplitude rectifier of a voltage doubler of negative polarity.

EFFECT: simplification of the design, a reduction in weight and size characteristics while maintaining the automatic mode, the operating frequency band, the level of microwave losses and speed.
