FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacture of large electrical machines such as water-wheel generators, including shroud rings.
SUBSTANCE: electrical machine stator has frame, laminated core with slots over inner diameter that accommodate winding whose end portions are fixed with shroud rings; the latter have insulating inserts and are locked in position together with end portions on frame ends by means of insulating brackets; two sides of each bracket are relatively perpendicular over external diameter of winding; vertical side of each bracket has slots on tilted edge of stator winding external diameter, and horizontal side is made in the form of supporting ledge with through hole to receive fastening member; provided on external end and at its base is transversal slot to locate fastening cleat; insulating plates are provided with ledge protruding beyond outer diameter of shroud ring to abut against insulating bracket; component parts of shroud ring are joined together by means of fastening member wherein tilted component of insulating bracket is turned toward insulating supports of shroud rings and end portions of stator winding through angle corresponding to tilting angle of winding end portions; insulating barriers in the form of rod with annular flange in center flush mounted relative to shroud ring ends being joined together are installed at joints of adjacent parts of shroud ring and provided with through holes to receive fastenings for joining them to ends of adjacent sections of shroud ring; end parts of rod are disposed inside tubular part of shroud ring and are provided with drop-in chamfers.
EFFECT: augmented air circulation about end portions of winding and shroud ring at reliable operation due to eliminating closure of electric current through them.
