FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed bucket wind rotor has vertical shaft and horizontal spokes with three-dimensional bucket blades symmetrical in pairs relative to shaft and secured on shaft. Envelopes of bucket blades consist of flaps spring-loaded for closing and which are expanded at critical gusts of wind by disk pf pushing piston sliding along rod fastened square to spoke and coinciding with direction of its axis to pass wind flow through bucket blade.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of utilization of wind energy at ultralow and high velocity of wind flow.
