FIELD: polymerization processes.
SUBSTANCE: molecular parameters are controlled by measuring physical characteristics of solution of polymer formed in succession of in series pipeline-connected reactors followed by math processing of information. In particular simultaneously measured are: concentration and temperature of polymer in reactor, pressure gradient, intake and density of medium in first and second parallel sections of pipeline connecting neighboring reactors in the series. Distinguishing feature of invention is that downstream of the second section of pipeline an additional third section is installed in parallel to the second section, wherein pressure gradient and medium density are measured, while math processing is made using corresponding formulas.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of continuously determining average-density molecular weight and coefficient of polydispersity in the course of process.
