FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an ethylene copolymer composition and an article. Ethylene copolymer composition contains an ethylene copolymer containing ethylene monomer and C6-C10 α-olefin comonomer. Ethylene copolymer is characterized by: the total density in range of 0.945–0.980 g/cm3 and a melt flow rate under load of 5 kg (MFR5) in range of 0.10–0.50 g/10 min. Content level of C6-C10 α-olefin comonomer is equal to 1–5 wt %. Value Mx/My is not less than 14.0. Modulus of strain hardening <Gp> of the ethylene copolymer is not less than 53.4. GpcBR index of the ethylene copolymer is 0.20–0.80. Ethylene copolymer composition contains an ethylene homopolymer fraction having a low average molecular weight, and an ethylene copolymer fraction, having high average molecular weight. Product represents a pipe operating under pressure or not working under pressure.
EFFECT: technical result is the proposal of ethylene copolymer compositions, characterized by improved resistance to stress cracking.
