FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves vaccinating chickens with vaccine comprising virus-containing material produced from small-plaque CT virus strain of infectious bursal disease occurring in hens. The chickens are vaccinated twice at the age of 14 and 21 days. The vaccine is introduced per os at a dose of 103.5 TCD50 given in 10 ml of water.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in creating expressed immunity; increased daily weight increment.
