FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing foot into pressure chamber and infection nidus aeration with low frequency ultrasonic oscillations passed through air mixture containing ozone. First, suppurative foci are surgically treated and necrectomy is carried out with ultrasonic oscillations of 26,5 kHz with amplitude equal to 70-80 mcm. Then, the infection nidus is treated with physiologic saline containing ozone/NO filling wound margin stopper under instrument waveguide oscillation frequency of 26,5 kHz and amplitude equal to 45-60 mcm. Next to it, temperature contrast action is applied to lower extremity in the pressure chamber by locally heating skin surface to 45-85°C to reach sweat secretion and hyperemia holding heating temperature for 10 min and then cooling to 25-30°C holding cooling temperature for 3-5 min with concurrent skin surface aeration being done with ozone/NO-containing air mixture flow during 5-10 min to reach natural skin surface temperature. Then, contact mode infection nidus treatment is carried out in wound area with low frequency ultrasonic oscillations of 44.0 kHz with uncurled instrument waveguide oscillation amplitude being equal to 10-15 mcm through capillary porous washer impregnated with physiologic saline containing ozone/NO and 5% of oil emulsion of oil-in-water type. Ultrasonic action exposure time is equal to 1-3 s/cm2 of sound-treated surface. The lower extremity infection nidus treatment is finished with by repeatedly placing the lower extremity into the pressure chamber treating it with ozone/NO-containing air mixture.
EFFECT: reduced risk of disease recurrence; accelerated treatment course.
