SUBSTANCE: knife, namely knife for household, includes cutting portion with notched zone and two surfaces, each passing at one side from central plane. Notched zone has recesses formed at both sides from central plane in such a way that said recesses alternate in one and other surfaces of knife. Recesses extend from one surface of knife to its other surface till central plane and beyond it for forming cutting edge that (in side view) passes on surface of knife up and down. Said recesses are rounded ones.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cutting, simplified small-cost process of making knife.
