FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises welding and treating the zone of heating by means of ultrasonic shock. The damaged sections, 600 mm in length, 45 mm in width, and 5 mm in depth, are welded with overlapping of at least 20 mm from each side. The fused metal is removed flush with the main metal, and quality of welding is controlled by radiographic or ultrasonic method.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
