FIELD: fish industry, in particular, growing of crabs in ponds, including additional feeding of inferior species of king crabs to commercial requirements.
SUBSTANCE: method involves producing gelatin from fish skin and preparing farce from low-value fishes; subjecting individual components to thermal treatment at temperature of 120-140 C under excessive pressure of at least 1.5 atm, with fish skin being treated for 2 hours and fish for 30 min; separating liquid released during thermal treatment process; grinding products obtained; mixing for producing of homogeneous mass, with skin : farce ratio making 7 : 3; enriching obtained mass with vitamins and microelements; placing cooled mixture in block molds; freezing at temperature of -18 C and storing in such state up to utilization time.
EFFECT: provision for obtaining of feed which may be easily divided into portions of desired sizes, said portions being not soluble in water for prolonged time and eaten without residue by crabs.
