FIELD: equipment for mixing of liquid heterogeneous media.

SUBSTANCE: mixer has vertical shaft and horizontal rotor mounted on vertical shaft and equipped with spokes and blades. Converging tubes are fixed at blade ends, with widening sides of converging tubes facing side of rotation of rotor. Hyperbolical turbulizers are positioned within each of converging tubes, with apexes of turbulizers being oriented in direction of rotation of converging tubes. Each of said turbulizers defines space arranged in the vicinity of its base between inner wall of converging tubes and turbulizers.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in mixing and dispersing of hard particles suspended in liquid.
