SUBSTANCE: method for producing amorphous belt of metal alloys comprises steps of melting alloy in crucible, discharging it onto surface of cooling disc; passing DC current through melt stream and cooling disc; selecting electric current density and polarity according to condition providing maximum cooling Peltier effect.
EFFECT: increased thickness of amorphous layer of belt.
