FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: metal melt is supplied on internal surface of rotating cooled mould. Per one rotation thickness of melt jet should facilitate forming of amorphous and liquid phase layer of specified thickness and melting of new coming melt from the jet with liquid phase layer during the next rotation of the mould simultaneously creating amorphous and liquid phase layer. The process is carried out to complete moulding of an item. The installation for implementing the method consists of a melting chamber and the cooled mould forming integrated closed space. The melting chamber is rigidly secured on the foundation. The mould is designed to rotate relative to horizontal axis and to progressively move in horizontal plane.
EFFECT: expanded process functionality, reduced production cycle and reduced dimensions.
