FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of amorphous and nanocrystalline metal alloys by ultrafast hardening of melts. Method of producing nanocrystalline hard-magnetic material from the system alloy (Nd, Ho)-(Fe, Co)-B involves melting the alloy in a crucible and extruding the melt through a hole in the crucible onto the surface of the rotating cooling drum with a direct electric current passing through the liquid metal stream and a cooling drum. Extrusion of the melt is carried out on the surface of the cooling drum rotating at a speed ensuring a maximum of the coercive force in the material, the resulting material is subjected to intense plastic deformation by torsion at a pressure of 4 GPa at a temperature of 20 °C and subsequent annealing in vacuum at a temperature T=750 °C for 15 minutes.
EFFECT: produced nanocrystalline magnetically solid material from the alloy of the system (Nd, Ho)-(Fe, Co)-B has a high complex of physicomechanical properties, as well as high values of the coercive force.
