FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly structures adapted to prevent fish passage in water intake structures and included in water intake structures.
SUBSTANCE: method involves installing louvers at different angles to supply channel flow as vertical young fish descent dynamics changes to regulate water flow to be taken. Maximal hydraulic flow resistance of supply channel is formed in flow sections of maximal young fish concentration by installing louvers at maximal angle to supply channel flow. Minimal hydraulic resistance is formed in flow sections of minimal young fish concentration by installing louvers at minimal angle to supply flow.
EFFECT: increased fish protection, improved water intake regime control with taking into consideration of biological features of object to be protected.
