FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to electric cables, which may be used in aviation, for instance, on board of a plane. A cable comprises the following components: an electric conductor, surrounded with the first layer, comprising at least one winding of mice tape, besides, the specified mica tape comprises mica particles applied onto a substrate by means of a polymer binder; the second layer comprising at least one winding of a polyimide tape; and the third layer comprising at least one winding of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape; besides, the first layer is exposed to thermal treatment under temperature of at least 400°C; and at the same time the ratio R of the weight per unit of PTFE length to the sum of weights per unit of the polymer binder and polyimide length is such that: R is more or equal to 2, when the section of the electric conductor is not more than 0.2 mm2, and is preferably in the range between 0.1 mm2 and 0.2 mm2; R is more or equal to 4, when the section of the electric conductor is strictly more than 0.2 mm2 and strictly less than 0.6 mm2; R is more or equal to 6, when the section of the electric conductor is equal to 0.6 mm2; and R is more or equal to 12, when the section of the electric conductor is strictly more than 0.6 mm2, and preferably not more than 3 mm2.

EFFECT: invention provides for development of a fire-resistant cable capable of operation in flame.
