FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: high-frequency coaxial cable consists of inner conductor with thin-walled, increased and external layers of insulation, and external conductor with shell. Thin-walled layer of insulation is made of calendered polytetrafluoroethylene tapes, increased layer of insulation is made of porous polytetrafluoroethylene. External layer of insulation is applied with squeezing over increased layer of insulation by extrusion and made of polytetrafluoroethylene or its copolymers. Shell of external conductor is made of polytetrafluoroethylene or its copolymers. In this structure, between increased and external layers of insulation, there is insulation consisting of mica tape which can be applied by winding. Additionally, between external insulator and shell, there can be insulation consisting of mica tape which can be applied by winding. Also, mica tape layer thickness can be made equal to insulation external layer thickness.
EFFECT: invention provides high mechanical stability of cable and unvarying electrical characteristics.
