FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves probing and lavaging lacrimonasal canal. Working end of Nd:YAG laser is additionally introduced into the lacrimonasal canal to the lower nasal passage fundus. Laser radiation is applied in continuous mode with power of 3.5 W for 10 s, smoothly removing the laser working end from the lacrimonasal canal. The lacrimonasal canal is washed with corticosteroids after having finished the operation during the following three days. Then corticosteroids are parabulbary introduced into lacrimal sack area.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
