FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment of internal combustion engines, particularly, to ignition devices with charge stored in capacitor. According to invention, proposed electronic ignition device of internal combustion engine contains storage device whose input is connected with output of voltage converter and output, through switching device, with primary winding of ignition coil, and ignition control signal shaper unit connected by output of control input of switching device. Ignition device is furnished additionally with second storage device of opposite polarity whose output is connected though additional switching device to primary winding of ignition coil, and input, to output of voltage converter. Additional switching device is connected by control input to additional output of ignition control signal shaper unit.
EFFECT: provision of regulated number of stable spark discharge of different polarity.
