FIELD: equipment for displaying pieces of art in the form of framed picture canvas.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hanger mounted on casing with stop. Hanger is made as ring formed from non-stretchable thread. Thread ends adapted to be connected are located in slots on side conical surface of casing. Ends of non-stretchable thread are fixed on casing by means of ring embracing casing, said ring having conical inner surface. Lower part of hanger ring is equipped with retainer for attachment to picture frame. Hanger retainer is made in the form oval link which embraces ring threads. Casing stop on non-stretchable thread consists of blocking members positioned coaxially and successively on said thread so as to embrace it within casing whose conical surface is oriented downward with its flare portion, flexible member, and threaded cover in its bottom part. Each part of blocking member consists of truncated cone having axial opening and equipped at its ends with entry portions. Parts of blocking member are mutually joined through flexible ring at small base of cone and through flexible member coils at large base of cone. Cover at bottom part of casing is made in the form of flat stop ring which is located in annular groove provided within bottom part of casing.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and reduced manufacture costs.
