METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF WATER-ALCOHOL SOLUTION Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C12G3/08 

FIELD: food processing industry in alcohol beverage production, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry in production of water-alcohol-based preparations.

SUBSTANCE: purified drinking water is mixed with rectified ethanol followed by purifying of obtained water-alcohol solution by filtering, wherein water is introduced into alcohol in amount of 17.56 mass.%, or 46.00 mass % or 88.46 mass % based on alcohol. To produce water-alcohol solution of another desired concentration water is added to obtained purified water-alcohol solution of approximately abovementioned concentration up to desired concentration. Before filtering solution may be treated with adsorbent such as activated carbon. Filtering is carried out with application of polypropylene filters.

EFFECT: water-alcohol solution of increased purity, free from adverse impurities such as fusel oils, aldehydes, esters, and methanol; products based on water-alcohol solution of improved quality.
