FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: friction unit comprises unmovable axle of the roller (wheel), sector bushing with outer friction surface made of modified wood and secured to the axle, and metallic race mounted inside the housing of the roller (wheel hub) with convex friction surface. The friction surface of the sector bushing is spherical and convex inward. The sector bushing is secured to the unmovable axle of the roller (wheel ) and is clamped from both sides by locking conical rings, face screw, and shaped nut. The metallic race mounted for permitting rotation and embracing the bushing is provided with convex spherical friction surface and secured inside the roller housing (wheel hub) having clamping flat rings with bolts.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
