METHOD FOR MODELING INTESTINAL INFECTION IN SMALL-SIZED LABORATORY ANIMALS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G09B23/28

Abstract RU 2279721 C2

FIELD: experimental medicine.

SUBSTANCE: It is necessary to inject Klebsiella pneumoniae culture: NCTC strain at the dosage of 109 microbial bodies/kg body weight 6 d after the creation of immunodeficient state due to subcutaneous injection of 2.5%-hydrocortisone acetate emulsion at the dosage of 0.125 mg/100 g body weight thrice at 2-d-long interval. The present innovation enables to create an adequate model of excessive colonization of small intestine at complete reproduction of pathogenetic mechanisms.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of modeling.
