FIELD: electric engineering, namely - electro-mechanical engineering technology, in particular, for controlling condition of mounting part of bandage rings and core of rotors of large electric machines, for example, turbo-generators.
SUBSTANCE: on basis of change of tangential deformation of internal mounting surface of bandage ring, presence of cracks is determined on internal mounting surface of bandage ring, wear of mounting surfaces, changing of mounting tightness and remainder radial deformation of rotor teeth. Tangential deformation of internal mounting surface of bandage ring is determined by means of device consisting of several indicators for measuring deformations (tension indicators), held on internal mounting surface of bandage ring after assembling the bandage assembly. For mounting the indicators, longitudinal channels are provided in end groove wedges of rotor. External measuring contacts, connected to outputs of indicators, are meant for taking information from indicators are held in longitudinal channels of end groove wedges of rotor or end parts of rotor.
EFFECT: increased reliability of electric machines, lower costs for performing diagnostics and maintenance operations.
