FIELD: electric engineering, namely, technology of electric machine engineering, in particular, control of values of mounting tightness of contact rings on rotor shafts of electric machines, for example, turbo generators.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to first variant, diagnostics of status of mounting tightness of contact rings on rotor shaft of electric machine, containing end part of rotor shaft, on which through isolation layer or isolated metallic bushing contact rings are mounted with brushes, is performed by estimation of change of tightness of contact rings before launch of electric machine in operation and in process of its operation during following halts, while change of mounting tightness of contact rings is performed by comparative measuring in one and the same places of diameter of external surface of contact rings, not touching brushes, while aforementioned change of mounting tightness is determined as difference of these diameters, measured in current time, in comparison to previously made measurements. In accordance to second variant of invention, diagnostics of status of mounting tightness of contact rings on rotor shaft of electric machine, containing end part of rotor shaft, on which contact rings with brushes are mounted, is performed by estimation of tightness of contact rings before launch of electric machine in operation and during its operation during following stops, while change of mounting tightness of contact rings is determined by comparative measuring in one and the same places of radial distance between any fixed material point on end surface of contact ring and external surface, positioned under isolation layer, while change of tightness of contact rings is determined as doubled difference between these distances, measured in current time, in comparison to previously made measurements.
EFFECT: provision of diagnostics of status of mounting tightness in assembly of contact rings without its disassembly with simultaneously decreased costs for diagnostics and maintenance operations.
