FIELD: method provides enhanced consumers' properties of rolled strip of steel with carbon content 0.09 - 0.12%.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of continuous rolling of strip in stands of wide strip rolling mill; cooling rolled piece between stands at controlling temperature of rolling process termination; accelerated cooling of strips in outlet roller table and coiling strip. According to invention rolled piece is cooled between stands at temperature gradient changing along second -order parabola whose apex is in mean portion of strip length and at maximum intensity of cooling in first interval between stands; lowering cooling intensity in next intervals between stands by 30% for each interval; providing temperature of rolling process termination in range 820 ± 20°C; beginning strip cooling on outlet roller table 15 - 20s later rolled piece leaves last stand of mill while providing temperature gradient along second-order parabola with apex in mean portion of strip length. Rolled strip is coiled at temperature 580 ± 20°C.
EFFECT: uniform mechanical properties of strips along their length and width.
