FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: brake comprises housing, pressing disk, air-operated piston, brake springs, lid, and seal. The reduction gear unit with the pressing air cylinder is pivotally connected with the housing of the brake. The friction roller that is in a contact with the brake disk is mounted on the input shaft of the reduction gear unit. The brake disk is secured to the driving shaft, and the pinion that set in motion the pinion mounted on the shaft asynchronous generator is mounted on the input shaft of the reduction gear unit mounted on the cantilever.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and prolonged service life.
