FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to design of brakes of crank presses intended for absorption of energy of moving elements of press actuator structure and driven part of clutch. Brake of a crank press, comprising a recuperative generator and a device for connecting to a flywheel, according to the invention, the device for connecting the generator to the flywheel is made in the form of a movable rocker hinged on one end, equipped with a feed drive and branch, in addition, on the rocker there are also two drums, on which the flexible elements are wound, at that, to the first drum the recuperative generator is connected, and to the second one - rewinding drive, at that rewinding drive and generator are connected to power supply unit of control system, which performs programmed control of rewinding and generator in automatic mode according to braking cycle.
EFFECT: more complete recuperation due to increased gear ratio to the end of the cycle.
