SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the sealing rings on the shaft, filling the internal space of the housing with a neutral liquid, setting plugs in the openings of the housing from the side of the outer surface of the housing, setting rod in the opening for the shaft provided in the housing, cooling the unit assembled and the shaft down to the complete freezing of the neutral liquid, removing the rod from the housing, applying lubricant on the surface of the opening for the shaft, setting the mandrel whose ring grove receives temporary sealing ring identical to that to be mounted into the socket throughout its length, removing the temporary mandrel from the housing, setting the shaft with the sealing rings into the housing, removing the plugs, and removing the neutral liquid from the housing. When the shaft is mounted, the temperature of the housing should be higher than the freezing temperature of the lubricant and lower than the freezing temperature of the neutral liquid.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
